  • WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY BOOKING?
    If you need to cancel or change your booking then please contact us as soon as possible. Please note that all cancellations and changes need to be made via email in writing to mink@60degreesnorth.fi Please see cancellation charges.
  • WHAT ARE THE CANCELLATION CHARGES?
    From the date of confirmation of the reservation until 60 days before the start of the rental period, we charge a processing fee of €20. Cancellations 59 - 30 days before the start of the rental, we charge 20% of the rental price. Cancellations 29 - 15 days before the start of the rental, we charge 40% of the rental price. Cancellations between 14 and 7 days before the start of the rental, we charge 60% of the rental price. Cancellations between 6 and 0 days (incl. 'no-show') before the start of the rental, we charge 100% of the rental price.
  • IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE TO RENT A CAMPER TRAILER?
    We require the lessee to be a minimum of 21 years old.
  • DO I NEED A TRAILER DRIVING LICENCE TO PULL A MINK CAMPER?​
    You only need a B driver's license to pull a camping trailer, as long as the total weight of the trailer is max. 750 kg. (Mink Campers) More information can be found here (link)
  • DOES MY VEHICLE NEED ANY SPECIAL FEATURES TO PULL A MINK CAMPER TRAILER?
    All your vehicle needs is a tow hook and power supply. Mink Campers use 13-pin plugs. If your vehicle has a 7-pin connection please let us know when booking and we will provide an adapter to use for your trip. Please note, for the leisure battery in the camper to charge while driving your car needs to have the 9th Pin (12v constant charge) fitted on your cars trailer socket.
  • IS THERE A MINIMUM RENTAL TIME?
    No. Unlike other campers & rental companies we do not have a minimum rental period. Also our prices stay the same throughout the year, regardless of holidays, midsummer etc.
  • CAN I GET A DISCOUNT FOR LONGER RENTAL PERIODS?
    Yes, if the reservation period exceeds 7 days, you only pay 50% of the daily price (for each day that exceeds 7 days). The longer you rent the cheaper the nightly price is. For bookings over 21 nights please contact us for an offer.
  • WHERE IS THE MOSQUITO NET?
    The mosquito nets are placed underneath the side doors of the Mink. They are in a wall mounted pouch so you can quickly pull up the mosquito net and cover the whole door from the inside. See pictures below:
  • DO I NEED TO MEET SOMEONE WHEN ARRIVING?
    No need. Since we handle the payment/deposit and ID/driver's license check online, you can come and pick up your rented equipment and camping trailer as self-service. Detailed and easy instructions will be sent to you by email when booking. If you want to meet on site, go over the camping trailer and its features together, or need help attaching the trailer to the towbar, please contact us and we can arrange this.
  • HOW MUCH FUEL DOES THE HEATER USE?
    The heating system uses Approx. 0.20l to 0.60l per hour, so is very economical. But depends a lot on the outside temperature. The fuel tank holds 12l, so a full tank should last approx. 4 days in the winter, or over 1 week in the spring/summer.
  • CAN I RETURN THE CAMPER TRAILER TO ANOTHER LOCATION?
    Unfortunately, at this time we only use one location in Nokia. We do offer a collection/drop off service for extra charge though. Please contact us via email to see how we can help.
  • WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE CAMPER TRAILER RENTAL PRICE?
    For your convenience we include the following: 2 pillows, 2 duvets, 1 blanket, cooking utensils, plates & cutlery for 2, gas stove (gas can is available to buy from us too on checkout page), pans for gas stove, fitted mosquito net, full tank of diesel for heating system (full-to-full policy), unlimited kilometres.
  • CAN I TAKE MY DOG IN THE MINK?
    Due to a lot of requests we have now a Mink which is dog-friendly. This allows you to take a dog or two (max. 25kg), inside the Mink with you. Please note you need to select this option to your booking form. A 35€ charge is applied for the extra cleaning and sanitation after your use. A cleaning charge will be applied if signs of animals inside the camper trailers is found and you have not selected this option when booking. By taking your dog(s) with you in the Mink you are fully responsible for any damage, including scratches, stains, other related damage that may occur. Please never leave your pet unattended inside the Mink!
  • CAN I ORDER A LATER ‘CHECK-OUT’, OR EXTEND MY BOOKING?
    The drop off time is automatically 11.00, but it is possible to order late check-out time until 16.00. - If you know in advance you can add this option to your booking form. A charge of 30€ is applied. - If you wish to add it once your reservation has already started then please contact us via Whatsapp to request a late checkout. The 30€ can then be paid directly or taken from your deposit. If you wish to extend your booking by another night or more then you can contact us via Whatsapp to request an extention. We will then check availability and let you know if it is possible (no other bookings). Payment can be made using your deposit or directly. Any extra nights are charged according to our pricelist.
  • WHAT IF I GET THE CAMPER TRAILER STUCK SOMEWHERE?
    Due to the lightweight of the Mink we have not ever encountered a problem of getting one stuck. But, if you do get stuck in mud, sand or snow then the camper trailer should be light enough to pull out with a bit of maneuvering. If after many tries then it can sometimes be worth detaching the hook and trying manually. If all else fails then further assistance with roadside recovery may be needed. In situations where roadside assistance is needed please contact us to help assist on how to proceed.
  • DO I NEED TO CHARGE THE BATTERY?
    The battery is fully charged when you collect the Mink. While renting it is rare that you would need to do anything with charging the battery, as it does not consume much energy. However there are 3 ways to charge the battery: Plug in the Mink with the green DEFA cable that came with it. The socket for the cable is on the non-driver side of the cargo platform - close to the front. The cable should be connected to regular 230v. Through the 13 pin plug while the Mink is connected to the car. Be aware the you'll need to have a 13 pin plug on the car and the car has to be set up to charge a battery in a trailer. Through the solar panel that is located on the roof of the Mink.
  • CAN YOU RECOMMEND WHERE TO GO WITH A CAMPER TRAILER?
    There are many great places to explore with a Mink. The lightweight and compact size, compared to traditional caravans, means there are many more possibilities. See our page ‘Explore’ on some good tips of places to go on your next adventure.
  • HOW DOES THE HEATING SYSTEM WORK?
    To turn on the Webasto heating all you need to do is turn the heating dial round to the desired temperature. That's it. There is a built in thermostat which will shut the heating down and come back on when it reaches the set temperature. The heating system takes air from the outside, heats it up and blows it into the main cabin. The air flows both over and under the bed. That reduces the risk of moisture in the cabin and keeps you warm and cosy all night long. Mink Campers use diesel fuel to heat. There will be a full tank of diesel in the heating fuel tank when collecting and it needs to be returned full of diesel.
  • WHERE DO I COLLECT FROM?
    The camper trailer is delivered shortly before the collection start time and is collected from the caravan parking area at ABC Kolmenkulma Nokia. This is the same place for returning.
  • HOW DO I SAFELY ATTACH THE CAMPER TRAILER TO THE TOW HOOK?

  • DO I NEED TO CHECK ANYTHING WITH THE CAMPER TRAILER BEFORE SETTING OFF?
    All of our camper trailers are inspected after each use, but the following should always be checked before departure: The towbar of the camper trailer is firmly and securely attached to the towbar of the car. Connect the 13-pin outlet to the car and check that all lights, including turn signals, are working. Check that the cam wheel is up before driving and lift and tighten the wheel properly. Secure the cables carefully so that they do not rub or pull on the ground while driving. Check that the fuel tank in the heating system has a full tank of diesel (this can be easily found on the front of the camper trailers, marked with a sticker). Make sure the doors are locked while driving. Take pictures of the camper trailer before you leave and when you return. A total of 5 images (both sides, kitchen, front and back). Before leaving, send the photos to the link provided on the reservation form. Our rental policy requires the renter to provide photos before and after renting. The pictures taken must be clear and according to the instructions on the booking email.
  • CAN I RETURN THE CAMPER TRAILER EARLIER THAN PLANNED?
    It is possible to return the camper trailer earlier than the agreed date. Please note refunds are not given for any remaining days on the booking.
  • CAN I USE THE CAMPER TRAILER AT FESTIVALS?
    Generally not. But it depends on the festival and surroundings. Please contact us with details of the festival so we can decide if it is suitable.
  • DOES THE MINK HAVE ELECTRICTY?
    The Mink has 2x 230v sockets (1 in the kitchen, 1 in the main cabin), 1x 12v socket (in the kitchen) and 4x usb plugs in the main cabin. If you want to use the 230v sockets you need to plug in the Mink using the DEFA cable.
  • HOW DO YOU ENSURE THE CAMPER TRAILERS ARE CLEANED BEFORE THE NEXT USER?
    Cleanliness is very important to us and our customers. Once returning the Mink Campers are thoroughly inspected for signs of cleanliness, and also damage. Our cleaning procedures are as follows: 1, Windows, doors and skylight cleaned with glass cleaner. 2, Doors and handles cleaned with disinfectant. 3, The headrest cleaned and disinfected. 4, Shoe boxes thoroughly cleaned inside and out. 5, Kitchen storage boxes cleaned completely. 6, Kitchen work surfaces cleaned and disinfected. 7, Mattress is hovered. 8, Ozoneator is placed inside the Mink for disinfection. 9, Outside of Mink is washed when necessary.
  • DO I NEED TO CLEAN THE CAMPER TRAILER BEFORE RETURNING?
    We will clean the outside of the Mink after each use. So no need to worry about that. There is a 22€ cleaning fee added to all bookings. If you de-select this option on the booking form then you are responsible for the inside cleaning. Please note the following needs to be completed: 1, Windows and skylight must be cleaned with glass cleaner. 2, Doors and handles must be cleaned with disinfectant. 3, The headrest must be cleaned and disinfected. 4, Shoe boxes must be thoroughly cleaned inside and out. 5, Kitchen storage boxes must be cleaned completely. 6, Kitchen work surfaces must be cleaned and disinfected. 7, Mattress is to be hovered. If you have de-selected this option and the camper is returned without the above being done we will need to charge you the cleaning fee to your deposit. This is to keep it fair to all customers. Regardless of which option you choose, the kitchen plates, cups, utensils etc. all need to be washed after you have used them. Also all you rubbish needs to be taken with you.
  • WHERE CAN I FIND THE MINK RENTAL USER GUIDE?
    You can find the Mink rental guide below. (Sorry, it is currently available only in English but soon it will be available in Finnish).
  • ARE BED SHEETS/LINEN INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
    We only supply the pillows, duvet and blanket included in the price. So you are welcome to bring your own linen. However, we also can provide cotton linen (pillow cases, duvet cover and bed sheet) for an extra charge of 25€ flat rate. The option will be provided on the checkout page.
  • CAN I SMOKE IN THE CAMPER TRAILER?
    Absolutely not. A charge of 200€ will be made if there any signs of smoking in the camper trailer.​
  • WHAT TO DO WHEN RETURNING?
    When returning, follow the return instructions sent to you via email. But the process is simple: Return the Mink to the same spot you collected from. Pull the handbrake up, Unhook the camper trailer Make sure the camper trailer/equipment is clean as you found it. Take your rubbish with you. Lock doors & coupling lock. Return keys to the box. Make sure the fuel tank is filled up with DIESEL (for Webasto). Before leaving, send the photos to the link provided.
  • I AM RUNNING LATE AND WON'T RETURN THE CAMPER TRAILER IN TIME. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
    Please let us know as soon as possible if you think you will be late and what time you expect to arrive. Charges for late delivery are found on our rental policy.
  • CAN I TAKE THE CAMPER TRAILER OUTSIDE OF FINLAND?
    Only EU and EEA countries are allowed. You need to select this option on the booking form for us to give permission. Please note that we do not give permission to enter Russia.
  • HOW DO I SET UP THE MARQUEE FOR THE MINK CAMPER?

  • IS DELIVERY INCLUDED IN THE PURCHASE PRICE?
    Our prices always include delivery cost to Finland from the factory. Price also includes 24% alv. Registration (Traficom) and licence plates. Delivery from Nokia to other parts of Finland (domestic delivery) can also be arranged at an additional costs.
  • IM INTERESTED IN BUYING A MINK. HOW CAN I MAKE A VIEWING?
    Great! We would love to help you become part of the Mink community. You can come to see the Mink on the border of Nokia/Tampere at Kolmenkulma. Please contact us to arrange a viewing at your convenience. We are flexible and evenings & weekends are also possible!

  • DO I PAY A DEPOSIT WHEN ORDERING A MINK?
    Yes, a deposit of 30% of the total purchase price (inc. 24% alv.) is payable when making an order. The remaining 70% is to be paid before handing over ownership of your Mink Camper.
  • IS THERE ANYWHERE ELSE I CAN SEE MINK CAMPERS?
    We are the only Mink Campers official dealer in Finland, so if you want the best knowledge and security you should buy through us. We work closely with Mink Campers so are kept up to date with the latest information. Buying from us also keeps you warranty safe. If you are unable to come to Nokia we can also arrange a private virtual tour. Please contact us for more information.   • WHERE ARE MINK CAMPERS MADE?
    Though Mink Campers are an Icelandic company, manufacturing takes place in Latvia. The manufacturing facility has expert craftsman and engineers using the best machines, tools and knowledge, which results in building one of the best camper trailers in Europe. Below you can see some images of the Mink production facility:
  • DO YOU HAVE A SHOWROOM?
    Currently we do not have a show room. Our business runs mostly virtual, but we do have a storage warehouse to keep our Mink Campers. In the future we aim to have a physical showroom open regular hours.
  • HOW MUCH DOES A MINK CAMPER COST?
    A full list of Mink Campers price list can be found here. But a short version is as follows: Mink-S: 25785,00€ Mink-X: 27370,00€ Mink-E: 28515,00€ From the start of 2024 all Minks now come with heating and solar as standard. Price includes 24% alv. Delivery to Finland. Registration and licence plates.
  • HOW SOON WILL MY MINK ARRIVE?
    If we have the Mink Camper in stock then you can drive away with it on the day. Any orders which are made to order then the estimated delivery time varies between 4-8 weeks.
  • DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING ONCE MY MINK ARRIVES?
    Once your Mink arrives in Finland we take care of the registration & inspection. Then we get plates fitted to it ready for road use. When everything is ready we will inform you so we can arrange a collection date/time. When handing over the Mink we will go through everything with you regarding the functions & technical information. This can also be handled virtually if you wish us to deliver your Mink to your home.
  • WHAT IS THE WARRANTY WITH MINK CAMPERS?
    We offer a standard, two-year limited warranty on the patent pending Solid Shell Structure™ against any structural damage or leakage, as well as on the AL-KO galvanized steel chassis.
  • CAN I KEEP THE MINK OUTSIDE ALL YEAR?
    Yes, you can. Mink Campers are designed to be outdoors. Of course if you have a warm garage and there is room then it would be great to keep the Mink inside over the winter so you can keep an eye on things and you don't have to keep clearing snow of it. But if not then outside is fine.
  • DO YOU BUY BACK MINK CAMPERS?
    On occasion we may buy back your Mink Camper if you later change your mind or your circumstances change. Please contact us with the details and will make an offer!
  • WHAT AFTER SALES CARE/SERVICE IS THERE?
    Once purchasing a Mink Camper we don't end our journey there. We are available throughout the ownership of your Mink to help along the way with any features, technical aspects or upgrade you may be interested in. Even the most basics of questions, we are always here to help. Customer satisfaction is the most important thing to us.

    Cleanliness is very important to us and our customers. Once returning the Mink Campers are thoroughly inspected for signs of cleanliness, and also damage. Our cleaning procedures are as follows: 1, Windows, doors and skylight cleaned with glass cleaner. 2, Doors and handles cleaned with disinfectant. 3, The headrest cleaned and disinfected. 4, Shoe boxes thoroughly cleaned inside and out. 5, Kitchen storage boxes cleaned completely. 6, Kitchen work surfaces cleaned and disinfected. 7, Mattress is hovered. 8, Ozoneator is placed inside the Mink for disinfection. 9, Outside of Mink is washed when necessary.
  • DO I NEED TO CLEAN THE CAMPER TRAILER BEFORE RETURNING?
    We will clean the outside of the Mink after each use. So no need to worry about that. There is a 22€ cleaning fee added to all bookings. If you de-select this option on the booking form then you are responsible for the inside cleaning. Please note the following needs to be completed: 1, Windows and skylight must be cleaned with glass cleaner. 2, Doors and handles must be cleaned with disinfectant. 3, The headrest must be cleaned and disinfected. 4, Shoe boxes must be thoroughly cleaned inside and out. 5, Kitchen storage boxes must be cleaned completely. 6, Kitchen work surfaces must be cleaned and disinfected. 7, Mattress is to be hovered. If you have de-selected this option and the camper is returned without the above being done we will need to charge you the cleaning fee to your deposit. This is to keep it fair to all customers. Regardless of which option you choose, the kitchen plates, cups, utensils etc. all need to be washed after you have used them. Also all you rubbish needs to be taken with you.

    You can find the Mink rental guide below. (Sorry, it is currently available only in English but soon it will be available in Finnish).
  • ARE BED SHEETS/LINEN INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
    We only supply the pillows, duvet and blanket included in the price. So you are welcome to bring your own linen. However, we also can provide cotton linen (pillow cases, duvet cover and bed sheet) for an extra charge of 25€ flat rate. The option will be provided on the checkout page.
  • CAN I SMOKE IN THE CAMPER TRAILER?
    Absolutely not. A charge of 200€ will be made if there any signs of smoking in the camper trailer.​
  • WHAT TO DO WHEN RETURNING?
    When returning, follow the return instructions sent to you via email. But the process is simple: Return the Mink to the same spot you collected from. Pull the handbrake up, Unhook the camper trailer Make sure the camper trailer/equipment is clean as you found it. Take your rubbish with you. Lock doors & coupling lock. Return keys to the box. Make sure the fuel tank is filled up with DIESEL (for Webasto). Before leaving, send the photos to the link provided.
  • I AM RUNNING LATE AND WON'T RETURN THE CAMPER TRAILER IN TIME. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
    Please let us know as soon as possible if you think you will be late and what time you expect to arrive. Charges for late delivery are found on our rental policy.
  • CAN I TAKE THE CAMPER TRAILER OUTSIDE OF FINLAND?
    Only EU and EEA countries are allowed. You need to select this option on the booking form for us to give permission. Please note that we do not give permission to enter Russia.
  • HOW DO I SET UP THE MARQUEE FOR THE MINK CAMPER?

  • IS DELIVERY INCLUDED IN THE PURCHASE PRICE?
    Our prices always include delivery cost to Finland from the factory. Price also includes 24% alv. Registration (Traficom) and licence plates. Delivery from Nokia to other parts of Finland (domestic delivery) can also be arranged at an additional costs.

  • DO I PAY A DEPOSIT WHEN ORDERING A MINK?
    Yes, a deposit of 30% of the total purchase price (inc. 24% alv.) is payable when making an order. The remaining 70% is to be paid before handing over ownership of your Mink Camper.
  • IS THERE ANYWHERE ELSE I CAN SEE MINK CAMPERS?
    We are the only Mink Campers official dealer in Finland, so if you want the best knowledge and security you should buy through us. We work closely with Mink Campers so are kept up to date with the latest information. Buying from us also keeps you warranty safe.   • WHERE ARE MINK CAMPERS MADE?
    Though Mink Campers are an Icelandic company, manufacturing takes place in Latvia. The manufacturing facility has expert craftsman and engineers using the best machines, tools and knowledge, which results in building one of the best camper trailers in Europe.   • DO YOU HAVE A SHOWROOM?
    Currently we do not have a show room. Our business runs mostly virtual, but we do have a storage warehouse to keep our Mink Campers. In the future we aim to have a physical showroom open regular hours.
  • HOW MUCH DOES A MINK CAMPER COST?
    A full list of Mink Campers price list can be found here. But a short version is as follows: Mink-S: 25785,00€ Mink-X: 27370,00€ Mink-E: 28515,00€ From the start of 2024 all Minks now come with heating and solar as standard. Price includes 24% alv. Delivery to Finland. Registration and licence plates.
  • HOW SOON WILL MY MINK ARRIVE?
    If we have the Mink Camper in stock then you can drive away with it on the day. Any orders which are made to order then the estimated delivery time varies between 4-8 weeks.
  • DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING ONCE MY MINK ARRIVES?
    Once your Mink arrives in Finland we take care of the registration & inspection. Then we get plates fitted to it ready for road use. When everything is ready we will inform you so we can arrange a collection date/time. When handing over the Mink we will go through everything with you regarding the functions & technical information. This can also be handled virtually if you wish us to deliver your Mink to your home.
  • WHAT IS THE WARRANTY WITH MINK CAMPERS?
    We offer a standard, two-year limited warranty on the patent pending Solid Shell Structure™ against any structural damage or leakage, as well as on the AL-KO galvanized steel chassis.
  • CAN I KEEP THE MINK OUTSIDE ALL YEAR?
    Yes, you can. Mink Campers are designed to be outdoors. Of course if you have a warm garage and there is room then it would be great to keep the Mink inside over the winter so you can keep an eye on things and you don't have to keep clearing snow of it. But if not then outside is fine.
  • DO YOU BUY BACK MINK CAMPERS?
    On occasion we may buy back your Mink Camper if you later change your mind or your circumstances change. Please contact us with the details and will make an offer!
  • WHAT AFTER SALES CARE/SERVICE IS THERE?
    Once purchasing a Mink Camper we don't end our journey there. We are available throughout the ownership of your Mink to help along the way with any features, technical aspects or upgrade you may be interested in. Even the most basics of questions, we are always here to help. Customer satisfaction is the most important thing to us.
